Giving

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

- Matthew 6:21

Ways To Give

Give Online

Use the form on this page or from our Poplar Ridge App to make a secure online gift.
You may give with a bank account transfer or a credit card, but note that bank transfer fees are much lower for the church, so that method is preferable. You always have the option, with any donation, to increase your gift slightly to pay the fees incurred through online giving.

Give In Person

Offering boxes are available in the front foyer and in the sanctuary.

Mail A Check

Checks can be made payable to Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting and mailed to:
3673 Hoover Hill Road
Trinity, NC 27370

Tithing is more than giving:

The word "tithe" literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing, or giving ten percent of your income, isn't merely giving something to God. It's giving back what was His to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from Him. The Bible says that tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything. It teaches us to always put God first in our lives.
Meet Jonathan & Katrina Spainhour: Serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM)

Jonathan and Katrina Spainhour are full-time missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), dedicated to equipping others for ministry and service. They rely on monthly financial support to continue their work.

Katrina serves the local community by running ESL (English as a Second Language) classes and engaging in coffee and prayer ministry, focusing on outreach to unhoused and low-income individuals. She also leads TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) courses, equipping others to use these skills in missions worldwide.

Jonathan trains missionaries in biblical literacy, theology, and practical ministry skills. He regularly travels to teach and speak on a variety of theological and cultural topics, while also leading courses at YWAM North Cascades in Lynden, Washington, on theology, hermeneutics, and current cultural issues from a Christian perspective.

Together, Jonathan and Katrina are passionate about serving both locally and globally, equipping saints for the work of ministry and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Poplar Ridge supports many missions and missionaries locally and worldwide.
